SkillShare

Many organisations, working in the field of reducing re-offending, have highly developed skills in their particular field. However, the degree of synergy between organisations in closely related fields, for example mental health and drugs or housing and families, is often low. This is often because organisations only have the capacity to train staff to meet tightly defined objectives, even though wider skill sets would improve their performance. The result can be field of fractured practice, performing below its full potential.

PiRR will facilitate joint training and will act as a matching service for organisations keen to learn from each other. It will create a co-operative for organisations wishing to trade skills and knowledge, leading to a much stronger and more expert sector.

If your organisation would like to join the SkillShare Service, please complete the SkillShare Questionnaire and return it to Jean Coates, email: jean coates.
